  1. I attended this tour twice around 2008. Both times to the English Midlands. Laura, the trip leader, was very organized. She’s lead the tour for years, knows every antique shop, and seemed to have a very loyal following of repeat business. We stayed at the Admiral Rodney Hotel in Horncastle. The hotel was fine, but nothing special. I hear it has been redone since then. Breakfast and dinner were included. Food was not great, but edible. Horncastle was the perfect location to stay. Walking distance to antique shops, ATMs and convenience stores. We traveled in a large motor coach. Very comfortable. We spent a few days going to stores, then the Lincoln and Newark Fairs. Found and bought great things. Shipping was not included, but Laura had lots of info on shippers and was knowledgeable on how to ship back smalls via Fed Ex. I wish we would have gotten into fairs earlier and stayed later (but most people on the tour were fine with the times). Also hard to shop and check out of small stores with a motor coach full of buyers. Overall, I would recommend the tour.
